​Meghan and Sadie are celebrating 7 years of being matched in the Mentor Squad program in June.
“This relationship has shown me the impact that just a few hours of my time each month can have on a young child,” mentor Meghan Charley said. “I cannot stress enough how important it is for people (of my generation especially) to focus less on themselves and more on those in need in our community. There are so many young people who are in desperate need of love and attention. Being a part of Mentor Squad has solidified in my mind the importance of a simple human connection.” Sadie says, “I’m really happy that I got to meet Meghan. She’s made me so happy and it’s amazing to hang out with and talk to her about things going on in my life."
